Yacht Designer Ron Holland

Although well know amongst yachtsman for his many mega-yacht sailing designs built by Royal Huisman of the Netherlands and Italian builder Perini-Navi, lesser known is Ron’s expertise for motor yacht design. The extremely successful AFFINITY by Delta and more recently the well regarded MARCO POLO are just two of the explorer style vessels designed by the team at Ron Holland and Associates. With three more large motor yachts on the drawing boards, or nearing completion, the timing is right, after more than 25 years of knowing each other, for Ron and I to work on such a project. With Ron’s design experience of over 35 years, and my experience in skippering offshore vessels which started in 1974, I think we can come up with some interesting ideas for the client; not the least being "Ice-Class" certification for a yacht with modern lines.
